Q Why do some manikins not have heads?

 A I don’t know.

I got to listen to a kid wonder, around a pacifier, to his father about that tonight at the mall. Now I am wondering myself.

  1. Maybe they were naughty and got their heads chopped off in the guillotine… sorry.. we just watched THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL.. ^_^

  2. This seems to be one of those deals where a person gets something in their head and they just can’t get it out.

  3. I’m so glad I’m not a manikin! Just imagine what it wold be like to lose your head and not be able to find it again!

    Comment by joyousthirst — May 16, 2006 @ 12:59 am

  4. I do it all the time ^_^
The logical response would be.. the same reason some humans don’t have heads, the got cut off.

  5. Esther, I find it amusing that you describe Jason as “gorgeous”

    Comment by yoj — May 20, 2006 @ 9:53 pm

  6. Yes, I find it just as amusing though I do agree with what it says. You see Jason put that on my blog and I just haven’t taken the time to change it.

  9. POOOOR ADDISON.

I think Esther has departed the blogosphere. R.I.P.

  10. new question!!!
Why do some people not update their blogs?
I have an answer: Cause they have better things to do!!! Although, I can’t say it’s because they have a life since I have a life and still find time to update mine.

    Comment by dudette.. — June 2, 2006 @ 12:11 am

  11. Esther has not departed the blogosphere. She is waiting for the right time. One of the best blogs I read hardly ever updates his site. And yet, there’s a calm peace knowing that when he does, it’ll be worth my read.

    Comment by Addison — June 2, 2006 @ 2:31 am

  12. Truth is, yoj, I am gorgeous, and I was just being honest. ;)

    Comment by Jason Wall — June 3, 2006 @ 7:31 am

  13. *dies laughing* And of course you’re very humble about it too ^_^

  14. Ruthie, you change your name so often, how do you expect us to keep track of you?

    Comment by Jason Wall — June 3, 2006 @ 6:31 pm

  15. *taps forehead* that… it’s called skills. If you compare all my posts, you can notice which ones I use most often. For example, Bob.. I branch off that to create names like bobbette, little bob, big bob, etc. Comprende? also, ‘yoj’ is just plain sense.

    Comment by Addison — June 9, 2006 @ 8:36 pm

  22. His whole look.. the way he wears his clothes, totally awesome. Though he’s not so cool when he’s beating little girls over the head with pillows *glare* other than that… ^_^

    Comment by munchkin — June 10, 2006 @ 1:11 am

  23. Since when have you had experience with Jason beating little girls over the head.

    Comment by Harrison Beckmann — June 10, 2006 @ 4:28 am

  24. *blank stare* Ask him.. he knows.. he knows all. Everyone knows. Joy knows. Jonathan knows. Paul knows. *glare*

This is getting way too melodramatic… well.. let’s just say I’ve had hands on experience.

  36. I suspect we’ve got a record here for the number of comments on one blog–it’s gotta be some sort of record!

    Comment by joyousthirst — June 18, 2006 @ 6:52 am

  37. That’s what I was thinking!

    Comment by yoj — June 19, 2006 @ 1:58 am

  38. It’s not. I’ve seen blogs that get comments well into the hundreds.

    Comment by Addison — June 23, 2006 @ 11:13 pm

  39. Thanks for bursting by bubble, Addson! I was hoping for a record here or something like that. O well I guess we can’t have all our hopes and dreams. ;-)

  40. *glares at Addison* *slap* How DARE you burst my lovely cousins bubble! *glare* WE are not pleased. You watch it young man, my cousin hurts, you hurt! >=(

    Comment by joyousthirst — June 24, 2006 @ 6:15 am

  41. Actually, I’m only kinda kidding. It’s the whole “family protection” thingy. You hurt my family, I hurt you… but in reality I don’t think you’d hurt her anyways ^_^ Me be silly.

    Comment by joyousthirst — June 24, 2006 @ 6:16 am

  42. by the way, the last two comments were mine, not Joy’s.

    Comment by yoj — June 25, 2006 @ 4:56 am

  43. Well… it certainly is the most comments of any blog in this immediate group of friends, at least, almost. I have one that went up to 48, a continuation of one that went for 42. But at the rate we are going, it could eclipse that. ;)

    Comment by Jason Wall — June 27, 2006 @ 2:30 am

  44. That would be so cool!!!! I am still not sure though why some manekins don’t have heads.

    Comment by starlightstarbright — June 27, 2006 @ 3:55 am

  45. Because they were made that way, silly! The manufacterers did not see fit to supply the manikins with heads.

    Comment by yoj — June 28, 2006 @ 2:46 am

  46. Uuh… because the manufacturers did not see fit to supply the manikins with heads. Now is your question answered?

    Comment by yoj` — July 1, 2006 @ 1:56 am

  47. I suspect it’s poor management–somehow the heads were sent in a different box and the box was lost in transit and the employee in receiving sent out for replacement heads but was told that he would have to produce the damaged heads but the only damaged heads he could find to send back were already on bodies, so . . . no heads!

    Comment by Joyous — July 1, 2006 @ 11:18 pm

  48. I like my idea better.

    Comment by yoj — July 2, 2006 @ 3:33 am

  49. I’m just glad that someone finily answered the question.

    Comment by starlightstarbright — July 2, 2006 @ 8:35 pm

  50. Nope. Your’e all wrong. The manekins had heads at one point, that is before a deranged, revenge-filled zombie attacked them in the stores at night and blew off their heads with a shotgun.

    Comment by Addison — July 7, 2006 @ 8:31 pm

  51. I don’t think YOU got it right! At least I hope you didn’t!!!!!!!! Just to think about your idea for a moment though where were the head pieces that were blown off? I don’t remember hearing about them from any one. You must explain this interesting notion that has gotten into your head to us all.

    Comment by starlightstarbright — July 11, 2006 @ 1:05 am

  52. It’s really quite simple actually. Zombies, being… well… Zombies, blew thier heads off, then ate the pieces because as a result of their zombiehood, they can’t eat much, it upsets them. So, the manekins were just right for their zombie digestion, and they ate ‘em.

    Comment by Addison — July 11, 2006 @ 2:39 am

  53. Your explanation needs help. It only brought you more questions. There were no answers at all. Please try to be helpful in your answers next time!

    Comment by starlightstarbright — July 11, 2006 @ 3:39 am

  54. Addison, you… are… a… sick.. little.. man.

    Comment by munchkin — July 11, 2006 @ 4:45 am

  55. It was very informative! They ate their heads! Don’t you get it!?!?!? We are in danger of head-blasting zombies!

    Comment by Addison — July 12, 2006 @ 11:27 pm

  56. Sean of the Dead!

    Comment by Jason Wall — July 16, 2006 @ 8:23 pm

  57. I think the only thing we are in danger of is sick little men like you… turning into more sick little zombies… XP I think I should start a Save the Heads society to protect us from sick little things…

    Comment by munchkin — July 17, 2006 @ 1:26 am

  58. Save the Heads? I think you should join the Save the Suckers Foundation first! did you know that suckers last longer if you leave the wrappers on?

    Comment by Joyous — July 17, 2006 @ 1:27 am

  59. Wow! 59 comments! totally cool!
I must say that the zombies theory might work if you explain a couple things: how the zombies got into the mall in the first place, and how they got guns. To be honest, I think that they must have been masquerading as zombies since zombies only exist in high school classrooms until the bell rings for the end of class.

    Comment by Joyous — July 17, 2006 @ 1:29 am

  60. Ok. It seems you ppl need some indoctrination. Fiar the well, before to long, you’ll know all about zombies and guns and malls. I work at one, that has guns, (and zombies) therefore, my voice on the subject is authoritative.

    Comment by Addison — July 17, 2006 @ 4:02 am

  61. Oh, and Munchikin…. WATCH YOUR BACK!

    *joker voice*
Bwuahahahahaha! I shall defeat you batman!

By the way I like the idea about staring a “Save the Suckers” club. I think I would join but I think that joining would make me a sucker myself.

  65. … *blank stare at Addison* … *blank stare slowly transforms into evil grin* so, what you gonna do to me? I’m not scared… I’ve got my own plans. Also, in case you hadn’t noticed.. batman ALWAYS beats joker, so you might as well give up now… I have a mere 5 days to wait before I carry out my plan. Be afraid, be very afraid.

*laughs* it’s okay, obviously I can’t make you afraid, and you can’t make me afraid. However, I like a challenge. I like seeing if you have what it takes to scare me… most likely not.
